EMIS Health launch ‘single sign on’ to view Docobo's remote health monitoring data within EMIS Web
25 May 2020
EMIS Health and Docobo have developed an interface that will enable GPs and other healthcare professionals using EMIS Web to access Docobo’s DOC@HOME patient data, using single sign on.
The new capability means that healthcare professionals logged into EMIS Web can access the interactive 28 day patient view from Docobo’s DOC@HOME at the click of a button, which includes the patients’ latest observations, including: blood pressure, blood oxygen, temperature and symptoms. The interactive view also allows EMIS Web users access to the rich feature set provided by DOC@HOME, including management of alerts, messaging to the patient, and sending self-help and educational videos.
With COVID-19 seeing millions of older, vulnerable people being asked to remain at home, being able to support their ongoing health concerns and managing their long-term conditions has resulted in many CCGs providing the DOC@HOME remote monitoring solution to such folk. As a result, enabling EMIS Web users to seamlessly view the data collected remotely by DOC@HOME without the need to log into DOC@HOME has never been more timely.
EMIS Web is a digital clinical system supporting joined up working across all care settings. Docobo’s DOC@HOME platform is a regulatory compliant, digital remote monitoring and case management solution for patients in their own place of residence or within care homes, providing out of hospital remote patient monitoring across the UK. Docobo has signed up to the TECH UK charter and is also accredited to MESH.
”The NHS wants to use digital technology to widen access to healthcare services in the most effective and equitable way possible, and we are responding by providing our customers with the tools to deliver ‘digital-first’ primary care. Docobo’s addition to our 100+ strong partner programme brings even more interoperability to the healthcare sector.” Suzy Foster Chief Executive Officer, EMIS Health
Adrian Flowerday, Managing Director of Docobo comments: “We are very pleased to have completed this work with EMIS Health as part of their excellent Partner Programme. Enabling EMIS Web users to have easy access to a patient’s remotely monitored data without needing to login into DOC@HOME brings a significant productively benefit and improved level of care. As a company, we are committed to interoperability and sharing data, so this is a significant milestone for us.”
