Greater Manchester Care Record named HealthTech Project of the Year

The Greater Manchester Care Record (GMCR) was awarded HealthTech Project of the Year at last night’s Digital City Awards.   

Powered by Graphnet’s software, the record joins up care for 2.8 million residents by integrating information from over 500 organisations and is seen as a key digital enabler in the region’s provision of care. 

The awards were established to recognise and reward the organisations, teams and individuals who are helping to build a better future through technology. 

Every month, 10,500 professionals access the GMCR to support clinical decision making and help provide joined up care services. The care record is run in partnership between Health Innovation Manchester, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, the 10 Greater Manchester localities and Graphnet.

Development plans for the GMCR were accelerated to support the region’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic which included a Covid Oximetry @Home programme and population health management.  The population health platform is also supporting recovery plans.
