South, Central & West recognised at procurement awards – supported by Care Alliance

NHS South, Central & West and its partners have been highly commended for the Cross-Functional Collaboration Award at this year’s Health Care Supply Association Awards.

The commendation recognises the work led by South, Central & West with the System C & Graphnet Care Alliance and Synertec for the Immunisation Management Service (NIMS).

NIMS was designed to be at the core of the national vaccination programme for both flu and Covid-19 working hand-in-glove alongside NHS England, Public Health England, and NHSD/NHSX to design the system to drive uptake of vaccination.

The HCSA Awards celebrate best practice and achievement in procurement management across the UK. Judges of the collaboration category were looking for programmes of work that demonstrated innovation, efficiency gains, service improvements and easy adoption.
