System C & Graphnet Care Alliance shortlisted for multiple categories at health tech awards
15 September 2021
Two Care Alliance partnerships with health and social care organisations have been shortlisted in HTN’s Health Tech Awards. The awards help to share and celebrate digital teams, programmes, innovations and suppliers that have made a difference to care and services.
Graphnet is a finalist in the Best Use of Data award for its work with Cheshire and Merseyside’s Combined Intelligence for Population Health Action (CIPHA) programme (https://www.cipha.nhs.uk/). Developed by Graphnet, CIPHA is a population health platform that was established in three months to help the area’s health and care systems manage the coronavirus crisis and drive recovery. CIPHA has led to real-time analytics and dashboards to help predict, identify and control Covid-19 outbreaks quickly.
System C’s work with St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (STHK) to implement a care collaboration tool also secured a finalist place in three award categories: Excellence in EPMA and Care Co-ordination, Partnership of the Year, and Best Health Tech Solution of the Year.
The digital tool replaced STHK’s paper-based referrals and handovers with digital workflows to maximise efficiencies and standardise formats for safer care.
Winners will be announced at a digital awards evening on Thursday 7 October.
